SHISHU VIDYA NIKETAN PUBLIC SCHOOL NAHAN  was established in 1974.In the Dynamic leadership of First Principal  ShR.D.Sem and and founder Smt Tara Verma  This institution  attained all heights of success in the beginning.Most of the First batch students of School are serving as scientists,Doctors Engineers ,Army officers ,eminent Lawyers,and IPS officers.
Golden Era of School starts in 2004 when new Director  joined the Management. From 2004 onwards  School Produced excellent results in board exams ,Children science congress,in cultural activities,Environmental friendly activities and sports. In March 2009 class 8th Board Exam HARDEEP PANWAR Got 4TH position in Himachal Pradesh merit list. by securing 670 marks out of 700.
In March 2013 class 10th board exams Anchal Gupta got  2nd position in  Himachal   Pradesh Board merit list and first in Distt Sirmour by securing 679 out of 700 (97%)  whereas Manish Panwar Got  2nd position in Distt Sirmour by securing  657 marks out of 700.Vijay Arora secured 628 and Raghav Chauhan secured 627 marks. 
ONE MORE GREAT  ACHIEVEMENT  IN CLASS 10TH BOARD EXAM 2013-14PRATHAM KANWAR  got 8th position in H.P.BOARD by securing 674 marks out of 700  and first in distt ,Supriya secured 666 out of 700 Second in distt, TANUJ SHARMA 659 AJAY BHATIA 654 KARISHMA CHAUHAN 653  ,ARUN CHAUHAN 642 TARUN TOMAR 640 MUKUL GUPTA 618 RITIKA CHAUHAN 615 RISHABH PANWAR 613  NIKESH 609 AKASH SAROY 606 AND KARISHMA DEVI 603  OUT OF 700
